Fragments in Creek
This installation positions vibrant ceramic fragments in a creek, merging with the natural flow of water. The colors evoke human activity and settlement, emphasizing how people shape—and are shaped by—the natural landscape. Inspired by the Land Art movement and artists such as Andy Goldsworthy, the work uses the movement and reflection of water to symbolize the fluid, ongoing connection between humanity and nature.
Fragments on Community Swing
Ceramic fragments in vivid colors are arranged on a community swing, blending art with a functional playground. First built in 2020 for local children, the swing becomes a site of playful interaction and community spirit. Drawing on the Land Art tradition, the work integrates natural and artistic elements, fostering connection and inviting reflection on humanity’s role in ecosystems.
