Natural Identity

This work presents a self-portrait drawn on a mirror, partially veiled by natural materials so the reflected image dissolves into its surroundings. By combining reflection, concealment, and organic matter, the piece examines identity as something formed between cultural roots and ecological context. Using the artist’s own features underscores the interdependence between selfhood and the social and natural environments that shape and sustain it.
